One of the rare diseases which is effecting the human body due to expose to asbestos is Mesothelioma a type of cancer. It is occurring mainly to the people who are working in that kind of atmosphere especially in cement factory, ship yard, automobiles, or in asbestos company. One of the cases which came into light is of one of my friend’s dad who used to work in asbestos company and his work is often making the asbestos sheet and due to inhaling of the powder daily he got affected to Mesothelioma a form of cancer. There are various stages in this disease and by the time my friends dad was exposed to this disease it was quite late and was in sever condition. The problem started by cough and effected the lungs and then to other parts of the body. In starting they did not take it serious but later the problem became serious and they took it serious when he was in severe condition and did x-ray, and found some lungs problem then did CAT and MRI to get into the depth of the disease. And we came to know that the test show positive result of Mesothelioma which lead to serious cancer.
When they came to know about this disease they were very scared and when came to know that the Mesothelioma survival rate is less were more scared and worried. But as I knew a website that has all the details about this disease and how to diagnosis, that really helped me a lot to reach to the right doctor and could give the right treatment on the right time and could save the life of my friend’s dad.

Asking for help is never an easy thing to do. If you are the caregiver for someone whose health is in decline due to age, it can feel like you are abandoning them or giving up on them when you ask others for help. You need to remember that what you are actually doing is making sure that their needs are being met the way they deserve to have them met. More than likely, this loved one is someone who took care of you when you were a child. They likely did everything they knew how to make sure that you had everything you needed. They deserve the same.

When either physical or mental health begin to decline, the other one is sure to follow shortly without specialized care. Places that specialize in senior/elder care know how to help prolong your loved one’s life while making their quality if life better at the same time. They employ physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, as well as a whole team of nurses, nurses aides, and activity helpers and directors, all while giving the residents as much freedom as possible.

When you have a family, which is a full time job in and of itself, as well as a regular job or are going to school, you can not give your loved one everything they need to keep up their quality of life without taking away from yourself or others. While sacrifice is always necessary to some degree, working yourself into exhaustion or depression does not benefit anyone in the long run. In fact, doing so lowers your immune system which makes you sick and able to pass your germs onto those loved ones you are trying to protect. Next time you feel overwhelmed, swallow your pride and show your family you love them by calling someone with experience in independent living for seniors and asking for help.
